4 WAYS TO EAT YOUR KING OF GREENS aka...CURLY KALE
It's not always easy to eat kale especially some are quite tough but if you buy nice organic kale from organic farms, they are deliciously soft and juicy and come in several varieties which can be eaten in several ways.
Try some different ways to taking kale below and give your body a huge boost of nutrition.
In salads: Massage the leaves by scrunching them briefly with your hands. This breakdowns the cellulose in the leaves and helps release the nutrients for easier absorption.
As a side dish: Sauté fresh garlic and onions in avocado oil until soft. Add kale and continue to sauté until desired tenderness. Alternatively, steam for 5 minutes, then drain and stir in a dash of coconut aminos and tahini.
Kale chips: Remove the spine/rib from the kale and toss in avocado oil/coconut oil and sprinkle with a combination of cumin, mild curry powder & garlic powder. Bake at 275 degrees Fahrenheit for 15 to 30 minutes to desired crispness.
